Gamma Guts Useful in a pinch, even if you're not used to taking it. You're gonna be up close to lots of goons, so being able to instantly kill the weaker ones and at least punish the guys that jump on you is pretty nice. Impact Wrists Melee weapons usually have a good kick to them once they slay an enemy, so throwing enemies even harder into their allies is quite useful. Also will soften up stronger HP enemies to increase your chance of 1-shotting them with weapons that may not normally be able to. Sharp Teeth Similar idea as Gamma Guts, if you get hit, so does everyone else. Pair it up with Bloodlust to get a pretty dirty regen build, especially on loops.

Back Muscle Great mutation if you rock double energy melee weapons, allows you to stock up on ammo while tearing through stages. Double energy weapons are usually more efficient than + because you'll be promised Energy ammo every time ammo drops. Rabbit Paw Same idea as Back Muscle, allows you to stock up on ammo easier if you're using late game energy weapons. Extra Feet Let's you run up on dangerous enemies quickly.

Nice in places like the caves since you'll be able to get over webs quickly to approach enemies. Not really an amazing mutation, but it has it's uses. Hammerhead Tear through a wall close enough to hit an enemy through it without cutting through for safe, tactical melee assaults.Ĭharacter Breakdown Fish Can pick up more ammo for energy weapons. Rolling towards enemies to whack them makes you feel pretty good. Water Boosting around the stage killing stuff is also really fun, but maybe not so practical.
